Abstract

|
Acute cecal diverticulitis of the cecum is uncommon and no individual surgeon has had enough experience with this problem.
This is a report of two cases of acute cecal diverticulitis with the preoperative diagnosis of acute appendicitis and cecal tumor. Two are treated by the right hemicolectomy.
